Choosing a gift is something that I have had avoided. The reason being, the moment I think of buying anything, I get overtly conscious as if someone has asked me to climb the Everest, without giving me instructions. I know might sound weird to many, but this is something that has consistently been with me. I do not know, what makes me so very conscious of the fact that I will have to buy a gift and what if the person do not likes it? This time, its birthday of my better half and I could not compromise with her in any way. The reason being, she is sweet enough and understands that her husband is not really good shopper. Every time, I end up either being with her while gifting her something, or give my card, saying she can shop as much as can. But deep down my heart, I realize, nothing can every replace the significance of giving something all by own. So having least said, this time, I had made a firm decision that I would be buying something on my own. Trust me …CityWalk is a life saver.
By the time I was thinking of organizing birthday parties in Saket farmhouse, one of my buddies told me about Select CityWalk. He told me that I could search for booking arrangements. Though this super spacious mall, homes the most sophisticated and best brands in Delhi, however I was not really sure where to walk-in. By the time, I was busy doing window shopping, a white dress grabbed my attention at Zara’s showroom. Though simple, yet had a glimpse of specialty in it. Without wasting much time, I rushed to the showroom, by here comes the twist. The floor assistant said that this is a dummy dress, designed by a designer. But I could get it surely, post placing an order. Alas! I did not have time, was disappointed, but soon when the floor manager yelled back saying, ‘sir…you can take it’. That was it. He had spoken to his manger and consequentially, I managed to bag off the deal, thorough him. Yipee! I did it! I hope she likes my gift too… :-)
