Shop for books and music and not just cloths at your closest malls

Shopping at the best arcades and complexes is a delight for most of us. The comprehensive experience of visiting a mall and enjoying a day out is both amusing and time saving. One can avail numerous services under the same roof. With its respite of services for everyone, these have turned up as one stop family destination.

However, despite its cafes and bars, showrooms and spas it is still commonly thought of as a place to hang out and shop for fashion and accessories. We may think of going to the best shopping malls in India if we need branded clothes and stuff, but are clueless where to turn up for other stuff. At the most, one would visit the wholesale retail stores for ration and grocery shopping but nothing more.

best shopping malls in india

However, there are certain malls that have turned up to be the best places to shop in Delhi, due to the sheer variety they have at offer. Besides the aforementioned stuff it is a very good idea to shop for music books and gadgets at malls as well.

If you are a bookworm like I am and are in a constant need for fresh supplies then look no further than some of the best shopping malls in India. The huge and diverse book arcades built will offer every possible author and edition you are looking for with an added comfort of a reading zone. Just grab a book secure a cosy corner and get glued right within the store. No one will disturb you. After you have read excerpts to your heart’s content you can pay for the copy you want and leave. In case they are out of stock on a particular book you are looking for, just place an order and it will be there.

Similarly there are some contemporary music stations. If you are equally paranoid about piracy and are intent on buying good quality digital copies of the music you listen to, come up here. These being the best places to shop in Delhi feature latest international albums and artists. You can enjoy the samples, scout through the library and shop for what you like.

Hence, these are a great respite in contrast to the recent past when there were no good shops for such stuff in India where one could choose from a huge variety and compare goods.

When to stir and when to shake a drink

While ordering cocktails at a bar in Delhi or making one at home I have always had confusions as to when should I stir my drink and when should I shake it. Obviously there was some logic to it as I often saw people stirring the same kind of drinks and vice versa, but I couldn’t get hold of any possible explanations. I didn’t want to look uninformed in front of others nor did I want to spoil the taste of my drink.

So, I had no option but to ask my friend who works at a top-notch restaurant in Delhi, as to what is the correct of making cocktails. Here I have shared with you what he told me. So, in case you also find it hard to decide, following tips can be of help.

When to shake

Cocktails that include heavy or thick ingredients require a shake to mix completely as a vigorous shake will blend the components with different viscosity properly. It also creates a nice cloudy texture with effervescence near the brim. So shake all drinks you would like to have with some effervescence. As a thumb rule, components like juices, syrups, sour mixes, cream liqueurs, eggs, or dairy products need shaking.

When to stir

A concoction of distilled spirits or very light liqueurs is gently stirred rather than shaken. It is a gentler technique to mix things while keeping the balance and texture intact. Moreover, some gin and whiskey varieties are stirred as it is believed that a shake can bruise the spirit.

At a bar in Delhi, it is easier to guess as usually the bartender will do it for you and you just have to follow the lead. Moreover, the drinks that need stirring comes with a stirrer in the glass, but while making one at home, it is best to stick to the recipe.

Do not buy same style of shoes over and over again

Be it clothes, accessories, shoes in Delhi based patterns, there’s no end to it. Markets in Delhi are loaded with diversified range of stuff and this is what makes shopping such a fun giving experience. When it comes to shoes in Delhi, there’s again a great range of things to choose from. Thus, if you are one of those who have been thinking that you have a great range of shoes, then think about it twice. This is because there are many girls who think that just because they have more than ten to twelve pair of sandals, they owe a great collection, which is actually not true in any way.  Merely owing a number of pairs does not mean that you have a great collection.  There’s lot more than sandals, sneakers, flip flops, to mention a few. Thus, if you really want to be complemented for variety of shoes in Delhi you have, you need to be bit experimental with your shoe-shelf. Say for instance: you just can’t wear a formal sandal, while going to a night-club. Similarly, pairing flip-flops with a formal wear make no sense.  Follow up the blog makes a mention of different shoes in Delhi based patterns that you should have.

•    On a foremost note, you should have a pair of Dolly shoes, better known as ballerians.

•    In order to team up your formals properly, you must have either Mary Jones shoes, which has been a universal favorite amongst girls since nineteenth century. If you want to add a glamorous look to your style, i don’t think i need to tell much about stilettos. Stilettos are all time favorite amid girls and beautify overall appearance of a dress.

•    Apart from these, wedges are all-time favorite and can be best described as heels that are cute and comfortable to wear.

•    If you feel that you are capable enough to carry high heels comfortably, cone heels would be a perfect option for you.

•    Last but surely not the least, gladiators are also essential and add a glimpse of perfection in your style statement.

What to look for while buying clothes for your angel this summer?

Select Citywalk :- PVR saket
Whenever you shop for yourself, i am sure fashion and trendy clothes must be the foremost priority, which is fair enough. But when it comes to shopping for your kid, i would say let fashion take a back seat for a while and draw your attention towards comfort aspects for your baby. This is because it has been seen often that in order to make tiny tot look good, a few mums dress their angels in peppy and gorgy clothes, which is harmful for child’s skin. Instead of prioritizing gorgy clothes and making your angel suffer in any way, you should bring your attention towards choosing the right fabric. Fabrics play a vital role and thus, you need to keep a check over which type of fabric are you buying. Instead of buying clothes from any random market, prefer baby brands for the same. You can shop from any market, be it Delhi shopping centre or malls like Select City walk, wherein you will come across a diversified range of showrooms of repute under one roof. So now when you know that you do not have to walk miles in order to get clothes for your tiny tot, you can conveniently bring him along. Besides shopping, you can check out PVR saket timings to enjoy movies as well.

So, conclusively, instead of buying any random clothes for your angel, think twice and take such clothes that will pamper him in the best way.

Tips prior to visiting a salon

What woman wouldn’t relish being pampered at a salon in Delhi, and contemporarily it has more or less become a part of our lives and a necessity. While basic beauty fixes are a necessity we no longer shy away from moving a step ahead and taking special services to enhance our looks or just to feel relaxed. The professional beauty centres are also enhanced and are easily accessible near your child’s school as you go to drop him or at the mall as you go for regular shopping in Delhi. However, prior to going out for your monthly touch up here are a few tips that you should consider.

Select Citywalk :-shopping in Delhi
•    Always opt for renowned beauty parlours and not those where there is a discount scheme. If a treatment is not delivered by a pro then it can even have negative effects, and you would not want to entrust your looks with someone lesser than a skilled professional.

•    Decide your budget and priorities beforehand. This way you will not stand a chance of running into temptations and spending more than you should. You can always come back later and take advantage of the special services you require.

•    Opt for herbal and organic solutions rather than cosmetic. These may not give miraculous effects in one sitting but are better and more effective in the long run.

•    Prior to taking up any permanent or long term styling treatments, always consult your beautician whether they will suit you.

•    Keep flipping your facial treatments and spas every alternate month or as required because the skin gets used to of the same cosmetics very soon. So, a particular treatment if used repeatedly may not be as effective as it used to be.

So, now that you know these tips, enjoy being pampered at a salon in Delhi
